🚨 Another important part of the USTC repeg infrastructure is now LIVE on the Terra Classic mainnet. 🔮 The vFDUSD / UST1 oracle is operational, providing the pricing required for swaps between vFDUSD ↔ UST1. Why does this matter? 🛡️ Lower oracle risk vFDUSD is designed to increase in value gradually rather than behaving like a highly volatile market asset. That makes its pricing more predictable and reduces some of the risks normally associated with oracle movements. 🔄 UST1 swap pricing is now live The CMM has an on-chain mechanism for determining how much vFDUSD should be exchanged for UST1 and back again. 🪟 The UST1 swap window is also deployed on Terra Classic mainnet. 📩 Three years later… Today I received a message from someone who contacted me around three years ago asking what happened to Ceramic’s USTC repeg plan and how far we’ve come. I’ll keep the person anonymous, but it was a nice reminder of just how much has changed. Back then, it was just a plan on paper. Today: 🏦 CMM — the USTC repeg framework is built and progressing through testing. 🌉 CL8Y Bridge — multichain infrastructure has been built, connecting Terra Classic with external chains. 📈 CL8Y DEX — built and moving through public testing, with CL8Y providing trading-fee discounts. ⚙️ cUSTC & cLUNC — the CMM Treasury has now been migrated, with wrapping/unwrapping functionality added. 🔐 Treasury security — migration from a single EOA admin wallet to a more secure 2-of-3 multisig has begun. 🔎 UST1 — a Kimi K3 audit identified 17 issues around the swap window/oracle, which are now being worked through before moving forward. It has taken much longer than anyone hoped. Most of the development has been voluntary or largely unfunded, and major infrastructure had to be built along the way. But three years ago there was a vision. Today there is working infrastructure. Still building. Still testing. Still moving forward. 🏗️🔥 The CL8Y DEX launch will be another major milestone. 😎

🚀 UST1 Window Phase 1 Update ✅ 4 of the 5 items are now complete. The final item requires an upgrade to the CMM Treasury, so the UST1 Window can complete UST1 redemptions through a secure, governance-authorised withdrawal process.
