I have just added three new stocks to my ever-growing watchlist of potentially undervalued UK stocks. Two of these are primarily life insurance and savings companies, namely M&G #MNG and Standard Life #SDLF, and the other one is Vanquis Banking #VANQ, a specialist bank. So it just happens that they are all from the financial services sector, which has been struggling recently with gilt yields continuing to rise. I think the UK stocks that I am most likely to buy this week, however, are probably going to include one or more of these names: - AstraZeneca #AZN - Polar Capital #POLR - Mortgage Advice Bureau #MAB1 - Primary Health Properties #PHP - Brave Bison #BBSN - Hollywood Bowl #BOWL Which UK-listed stocks are on your watchlist this week?

The FTSE 100 slipped at Thursday’s close after touching another record intraday high 🇬🇧 The blue-chip index fell 11.14 points, or 0.1%, to finish at 10,897.27, having earlier reached a fresh all-time intraday high of 10,979.60. The FTSE 250 gained 0.3% to 24,079.14, while the AIM All-Share added 0.4%. The Bank of England left interest rates unchanged at 3.75% in a 6-3 vote. Lots of UK stocks are starting to look good value at the moment, and I have added quite a few to my watchlist over the past few days. I put Vanquis #VANQ and Funding Circle #FCH back on my watchlist after watching Richard Staveley's Rockwood Strategic presentation on Investor Meet Company's YouTube channel. However all of the others are stocks that have come up on my stock screeners, and ones that I know quite well already. Unfortunately I was too late with Advanced Medical Solutions #AMS as the company just announced that they have accepted HB Fuller's offer to acquire the company, and are up 16% today on the back of this news. However all of the others are still in play, and are very attractively priced based on their fundamentals imo. The two I really like are Cerillion #CER and Kainos Group #KNOS.
