@EricUKInvestor Nicely set out, my gut feeling is that even your upside version is fairly conservative. I’ll be happily holding through to conclusion, topping up on any significant SP weakness.
@1James1n1#CTA well that trade was a disappointment, incorrectly thinking on Monday we would have a clean TU after putting H1 issues behind them, I was wrong, took the loss at the open.
#HDD Hardide does it again with a first production order of a 2nd Gen version of its designed components, valued at $1.9m order whilst looking forward to supporting the customer for many years to come. With further orders to come, provides confidence of further significant growth
@rhomboid1MF#GDWN second read, they always said they plan on selling a substantial part of ME, which they now repeat, what they are selling appears to me exactly what they first indicated, leaving the kept ME part the new technological division made up of Duvelco and Internet Central
@rhomboid1MF#GDWN note substantial part of Mechanical Engineering business indicates a carve out that they aren’t buying, maybe up for sale to someone else, to be kept …
@rhomboid1MF#GDWN I believe the ongoing business is worth a good £250m+ the Refractory made £12.3 PAT last year, the new Technological business is loss making but has got to be worth £££ as they were saying last year it could become the most valuable part of the business, central O/Hs £2m.
#RSW Renishaw should hit CY 182p EPS and then 225p+ for a reasonable PE of 22. #DSCV DisoverIE have also been reporting strong recent growth, business appears strong which should see further upside in estimates. Another name more in the bombed out quality is #MRO Melrose 2/2
#VLX predictably reported further upgrades, I missed topping up, target price not met on recent weakness. My recent buys are mostly focused on great companies that have reported beats which I expect to continue to see namely #RSW where next years estimates appear too low 1/2
@AlanRichar6162 I don’t follow you but I said Lankshear should be the backup to Solanke. I believe he is good enough, and minutes may have proven that this season, it’s a shame to see him leave #COYS
@RudolphN17 A lot of recruitment. Can’t argue, 2 CB which are linked please, progressive CM, GK, 2 proven front line attackers covering the front 3 positions who score & create, we need to get goals into this team, we are seriously lacking firepower so can’t be messing around with unproven
Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
