A few years ago, I presented at a school on the subject of #working_memory. After the talk, a teacher said: "that was really good. But, honestly, we've got a new initiative here every few months. I can't do YOUR thing as well as LAST MONTH'S thing...we're all just sick of it."

My school suggested that teachers implement Socratic seminars in the classroom. I decided to keep an open mind and try it. I knew that for this to be successful, students needed a strong foundation on knowledge. This is how I approached it. 🧵
