#Narsingi Police launched an investigation, also examining whether #DrunkAndDriving or over speeding led to the fatal crash.
The occupants reportedly fled the scene after left the car.
The accident occurred near SMP School when a speeding Mahindra SUV 350, travelling at High speed on Wrong side of the road, first hits the retired Army Personnel, who was reportedly walking along the road. The impact reportedly threw him into the air, and he died on the spot.
The speeding vehicle also hit three people travelling on two-wheelers. They suffered serious injuries, with one of them reportedly suffering a leg fracture. They were shifted to a private hospital for treatment.
