#ZeroMDR was now made public as a result of so many meetings with the Central Bank to Financial Institutions. Finally, we managed to get into an agreement on this a few months back. However, putting this into meaningful action is required now. That's a different ball game altogether. And to popularize #QR in a cash/cards economy needs action beyond talk/meetings/forums.

Why have airport lounges started sucking so much? 5 years ago, they used to be cool places to sit and relax. Now they are extremely overcrowded and the quality of food is crappy as well. I would not mind paying for better quality lounges.

@VaibhavSisinty UPI x Bank Account has 900M funding sources. UPI x RuPay Credit Card has 20M funding sources. They said #ZeroMDR will drive more RuPay cards. What happened was the opposite. UPI x RuPay Credit Card may drive more RuPay Credit Card issuance but it won't be a gamechanger for UPI.

❓Are there any downsides? 📌 − Credit Card Issuers rely on Interchange to provide differentiated rewards to users. YES- fees is a major income source of the P&L however, with the #ZeroMDR regime how are they to going to sustain this business with zero margins and huge expenses
