Following the successful launch of the @NgComCommission's Zero-Rated Access initiative today, one can confidently say that DATA-FREE LEARNING IS HERE! The #ZeroRatedAccess initiative is a game-changer enabling students, teachers, and learners across Nigeria to freely access educational platforms (websites & apps) and contents online through mobile networks without having to pay for data (up to a defined daily usage limit). It is a vital part of the ongoing educational reforms of President @officialABAT's "Renewed Hope Agenda." The aim is to provide: 1- Data-Free Learning: where Telecom operators will neither charge nor deduct from one's data balance when users access approved e-learning tools like Google Classroom and Coursera. 2- Reduce Cost & Bridge the Gap: by removing financial barriers to make online education affordable, promote digital inclusion and equal opportunities for learners in low-income and underserved areas. 3- Support Better Outcomes: by expanding access to digital classrooms and study resources which improves overall educational quality.
