Statement of Grand Ayatollah Sayid Ali Al-Sistani on the Israeli Attack on Iran:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The crime committed by the Zionist occupying entity at dawn on Friday — resulting in the martyrdom of a group of scholars, military commanders, and civilian citizens from among the Iranian people, including women and children, in addition to the targeting of several academic institutions and scientific centers in the country — has once again demonstrated the aggressive and dangerous nature of this usurping entity.

While we ask Almighty Allah to bestow mercy and exalted ranks upon the noble martyrs, and extend our condolences to their honorable families, and pray for the swift recovery of the wounded and injured — we strongly condemn this criminal act and call upon the international community to exert pressure on this aggressive entity and its protectors to prevent the recurrence of such attacks.

We ask Almighty Allah to grant continued dignity and honor to the dear Iranian people.

There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
