Izzy elected President again following a busy and enjoyable year. Our generous members donated tins for the Change Changing Lives local support group. Following our meeting members had fun making Christmas Baubles to use at the Haslington Christmas Tree Festival

What a super evening we had last night
Philip Heaton talked us through an introduction to Astrology. He was soon interesting we sat 'spellbound' for over an hour. We recognised ourselves in our start sign characteristics
Members have been 'Going for it' trying wild water swimming and managing ti escape from the Escape Room with seconds to spare. Next challenge - axe throwing
Members have been busy this week. We had a make-up demonstration for our meeting which made Janet look lovely for her birthday. Anne organised wild water swimming for her new 'Go For It' activities and we enjoyed a lovely meal with dining club. Enjoying time with friends.
Our visit to Tom & Karen's 'Prize Winning' Halton Farms at Congleton, on Friday was organised by Janet Heath. We had a 'trailer' tour of the farm, visited the calves and had a go at milking and enjoyed tea and cakes. An enjoyable and interesting visit
We had a wonderful time on the appropriately named Emmeline Pankhurst in Manchester today. We sailed from Castlefield to Salford Quays, had a quick look round the Quays then back to Castlefield. A lovely 3-course lunch was also included. A lovely, relaxing day with friends.
Interesting evening with our local MP @KieranMullanUK telling us how he got into politics and plans for the regeneration of Crewe.
