@mcranger214@_TheSmartAlec1 Don’t take it too seriously, once the game comes out he’ll be back on the hate train just so he can get clicks for being a contrarian
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Handheld Mode Boost Off vs On comparison
With Handheld Mode Boost enabled, you can play Switch 1 games at their docked resolution while in handheld mode. This means Xenoblade 2 now reaches a maximum resolution of 720p while in handheld mode on Switch 2, which will look much better than stretching a 540p image on a 1080p display.
Not only is there a boost in resolution, but you also get the benefits of better textures, level of detail, draw distance, and background clarity from the docked version of the game.
The original screenshots used for the comparisons were taken using the Switch 2's Capture Button in handheld mode and are in 720p. As was the case with Xenoblade: Definitive Edition and 3, the differences in image quality are more noticeable in person, but hopefully they're still somewhat noticeable between the comparisons I'm sharing (not to mention additional image compression).
@Ivorypkmn@Archeologyclass@D5NQUINN@wavebouncenade Genuinely trying to come at this from a good faith position as I’ve seen this said a few times, but why not just make the crit rate 100% for enemies if this is the rationale?
At risk of angering the reload bad mob, the complaints about the “change” in Mitsuru from FES to episode Aigis here really show that a lot of persona fans are never beating the reading allegations
@HarrisonTheHutt He’s on retro mode??!! Was that part of the original rules? If not, let the man change to modern before he gets stuck in a game over loop!
@Zeke_Azure@GenePark Three hopes runs at 60 in handheld and docked. Base fe warriors can still only run at 30 in handheld because that’s all it was set up to target
@GenePark This is not true. Hyrule warriors always targeted 60FPS regardless of whether it was handheld or docked. This is why it runs at 60 on the switch 2.
"The Tears I Shed for You" is now available to read
It is a collection of renders, presented in a novel-style format, that aims to faithfully retell the protagonist and Mitsuru's romance route from Persona 3, all while adding original scenes that were created by myself.
Gamers are too hung up on objectivity. Overall opinions on game quality are all based in subjectivity and that's good if you like talking about games. There wouldn't be much to talk about otherwise
