@TheBoltonNews The absolute best Pasties in Bolton and for many miles radius are Ye Olde Pasty Shoppe, 31 Churchgate, Bolton. Hand made good filling with plenty of Meat. When I worked in town I had them for lunch very often. 100%+

@jet2tweets Definitely Croatia, we have been there every Summer for many years, since Jet2 started flying to Croatia we go with them every time, also Jet2 for Spring and Autumn holidays. May have to wait until next year unfortunately due to Johnson’s regular mind changes!

I was in the Stereotypers Dept at Mealhouse Lane, we cast the hot metal into half circles, they were then mounted on the Printing Press, one each side of the Cylinder, one turn of the Cylinder printed two papers. Happy Days!

@horwichguy @allanrob9 The Journal Office is on the next corner(visible on the picture) l worked for Tillotsons at Mealhouse Lane for 45 years and went to the Horwich office several times, I lived in Horwich for over 60 years.

@RobertKirkhope @jet2tweets We have used Jet2 since they started, never had anything to complain about. We have 3 Holidays a year and all booked as packages with Jet2.
Our first trip to Spain was Canx-virus. We then booked July to Croatia and transferred the payment, all perfect and Croatia great as usual.

Does anyone know why the Fire Brigade have taped off the pavement facing the side of the Leisure Centre, they seem to be checking over the bridge so could be flooding?
A fireman also went down by the side of the Garage across the road.
