We're just getting started, can't wait for season 2
Thoughts on @addicteddotfun as the game currently progresses:
A lot of players have been reinvesting their harvest back into the game, which you can clearly see on the leaderboards, that’s a strong sign of confidence. Even the whales who have been selling are doing it respectfully, another good indicator of healthy movement.
I know many people are worried about where the player base is heading, but there are two key things to keep in mind. First, the overall supply distribution is still quite low if you actually look at the holder data. Second, the halving starts in about two days, meaning everyone’s growth rate will be cut in half. That’s when the real game begins. The top players won’t be able to farm as aggressively, which will naturally balance things out and create a catch-up dynamic for newer players.
Sure, early players are reaping the biggest rewards right now, but I’d rather have a shorter cycle like this than a dragged-out one. The halving effectively nerfs whales, and what the game really needs next is new players entering as we move into Season 2. Hopefully, the devs consider adding a gamified mechanic that helps smaller players “speed run” a bit, that kind of system would make late entry feel less punishing and more fun.
With limited liquidity across SOL in general, this setup feels ideal right now. By Day 5, I’d rather be at these levels than see unsustainable highs that create a ceiling too large to break later. The concept itself, a “drug game” where you can grow weed and build your own empire, is pure gold. I love the IP, and I think once more people catch on, it’ll start making serious noise.
If I had one wish, it’d be that player progression wasn’t so fast out of the gate, but overall, I’d rate this ponzi a 7.5/10. Keep growing, keep pushing.
