Manipur: The empty bus symbolized a hollow peace during the FOCS "March to Hills" rally, which was held under the pretext of "Free Movement," as announced by the Union Home Minister @AmitShah. While this time it was just an empty bus, tomorrow it could be replaced by a driverless electric bus sent to the hills.

This situation illustrates that peace cannot be forcibly imposed in a conflict zone without first addressing the need for justice. Political issues need to be resolved through political solutions, not through the presence of an empty MSTC bus.

The so called “Peace Proposal by Dr. Raj Meitei who lives in Canada is just a way to gaslight Kukis into accepting a diluted version of autonomy within #Manipur while Meiteis keep control over resources and governance. Their so-called “threat” of secession is empty because they’d be completely dependent on India anyway. This is nothing more than political posturing to avoid real justice for Kuki-Zo people. If Dr. Raj is serious about real solutions he can read the rebuttal proposal from KANAM @KanamDelhi :

The Kuki-Zo community has endured tremendous suffering under the Biren-led government, and their last hope now rests with the central government after the imposition of President's Rule in Manipur on February 13, 2025.

Yet, alarmingly, central forces are blatantly violating the human rights of their own citizens, specifically targeting the Kuki tribal community in Manipur.

The state-sponsored #ManipurViolence against the minority Kuki-Zo community is intolerable and must be addressed!
The Kuki protestors are just exercising their constitutional right to protest and demand justice.
