"Venus" was released in 1969 as the lead single from Shocking Blue's second studio album, At Home. Written by Robbie van Leeuwen, the song became the Dutch band's biggest international success, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1970. It also topped the charts in Belgium, Canada, and several other countries while reaching the Top 10 in the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia.
More than a decade later, the song found a new audience when British girl group Bananarama recorded a cover version that also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1986, making "Venus" one of the few songs in history to top the US charts with recordings by two different artists.

Canadian mother Jessica Fletcher tattooed a full QWERTY keyboard on her forearm so her nonverbal autistic son, Hunter, would always have a way to communicate with her.
The idea came after Hunter’s tablet battery died at a restaurant, leaving him without his usual communication device. He improvised by drawing a keyboard on paper and pointing to letters to spell out his requests.
Jessica decided to make that backup permanent. Now, whenever the tablet is unavailable, Hunter can tap letters on her arm to form words. A video of him using the tattoo to spell “splash pad” spread widely online.
For Jessica, the tattoo is more than ink. It is a lasting way to ensure her son’s voice is never silenced.
