Public service is hard enough without struggling to pay for food….@WCKitchen we are proud to feed our federal workers …furloughed or working without pay…at this difficult time.
A hot meal is our small thank you for doing a big job for the American people!
Work resumed Friday at WCK’s Deir al-Balah kitchen after running out of ingredients and pausing cooking the prior weekend. Our team cooked 60,000 hot meals today—these meals reach extremely vulnerable families and medical facilities who rely entirely on the kitchen for food. But more is needed in Gaza. Our ability to bring food to the many other Gazan families in need depends on a steady, reliable flow of aid. #ChefsForGaza

If you have to go to Highland Hospital in Oakland today, be aware that there is a organization outside trying to get people on camera. The group uses a tactic of aggressively trying to shame people who have taken part in protests against the war in Gaza.
If that’s what they do to a United States Senator with a question, imagine what they can do to any American that dares to speak up. We will hold this administration accountable.
We are deeply alarmed by the latest actions from the Trump Administration targeting workers at agricultural fields, packinghouses, and other facilities from the Central Coast to the Central Valley.

We all like to enjoy a nice birthday party.
But most of us don't celebrate with a $45 million taxpayer-funded military parade.
Save taxpayer money. Have a birthday cake and blow out a few candles. Don’t shut down the capital and roll out 60-ton tanks through the streets.
@calleymeans@thefoodbabe@SecKennedy@SecRollins Say what? Eliminating local school food programs actually takes healthy food away from kids and hurts American farmers. "It's just a terrible time to pull the rug out from underneath this," Ryan Marquardt, vice president of the Iowa Farmers Union https://t.co/KkHPYWUwoM
Some of the citizens in Sisimiut, Greenland posted this on FB with this photo;
Recommendation to fellow citizens in Sisimiut: Vance’s wife’s visit is a charm offensive. If you smile at them or take a selfie with them, you are sending a message to the world that you love the USA and want to be part of it. It is recommended not to show interest. We have already expressed our stance through a large demonstration—let’s remain firm and stay united.

If Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, can arbitrarily fire hundreds of thousands of federal employees without cause, think of what he’ll do to workers in the private sector.
Today, it’s federal workers.
Tomorrow, it’s *your* job.
That’s what oligarchy is about.
