i want the entire world to come to a stand still until we can put somethings into permanent cement:
1. what does your party ACTUALLY stand for? not in theory, but in practice?
2. is censorship EVER justified? to what degree, on what mediums?
3. is misanthropy allowed? explain.
The police broke down my door and arrested me because of https://t.co/gK0tHfGBB9 posts. I explain what happened here.
Our freedom and privacy is under attack and if we resist - just a little - the policy might come in force.
@user93819947748@NudgeUnitUK@JamesDueck a) we don't wanna kill all criminals, just have them face proper punishment
b) if you feel this way, maybe stop voting for MORE male immigration
c) if you kill all men, you kill yourself, so why don't you just go first & get the ball rolling, promise we're right behind you
@JamesDueck believe women!
"but also all white women lied during jim crow era & none of them were ever harassed or raped"
but believe women!
"but also the rape gang report is totally fake"
but believe women!
"but also don't listen to them if they share an experience about minorities"
but!
between Henry Nowak, the beheading attempt in Northern Ireland, the rape gang report, and the 3 year old boy thrown into the crocodile pit, I genuinely don't understand how the entirety of the UK is not engulfed in flames right now
When I got arrested for Nazi Pug, I got held in jail until my court date due to the "serious nature" of my "offence".
But the guy who threw a toddler into a crocodile enclosure to try and have him ripped limb from limb has already been bailed the very next day.
Clown country.
The police returned Fiona(an English child)to the house where the Muslim rape gang were and told them "have fun with her".
Not 1 officer has ever faced trial.
Not 1 politician.
Not 1 social worker.
If white Christian men had systematically raped 250,000 brown children for a decade, it would be the biggest scandal of half a century.
But because brown Muslim men did it to white children, the authorities continue covering it up, and media continues refusing to talk about it.
I can't stand the doomerism and learned helplessness that characterises some people's attitudes to Digital ID and age verification, and neither should you. It's the mentality of serfdom and peasantry, and if you think like a peasant, then expect to be treated like one.
The progressive blob that runs Britain is saturated with people who inhabit an eternal present where the status quo was always life in a digital panopticon police state.
They will gaslight you all the way to hell, you will never prise one scintilla of common sense out of them, and you are wasting your time if you try. See the gaslighting cycle from stages one through five below to grasp how that works.
Now, if you're NOT of such a disposition, read on.
There is a world in the very, very near future where you wake up one day, you log on to your main accounts - accounts that might contain documents that are absolutely essential to your life - and you will find that Google/Apple/Microsoft is, at the behest of Labour, now holding your property hostage until you scan your face, fingerprints and ID into the platform.
Your most trusted platforms, platforms you may have used with no issues for decades, into a kind of retroactive honeypot that fundamentally rewrites the basis of your relationship with them.
Your iCloud, your Google Drive, your OneDrive (that Microsoft has integrated into the nuts and bolts of Windows and is constantly hoovering up your data) were all cheap, convenient and private up until the point the services became indispensable to you.
Now that you are invested, whether you like it or not, politicians across the Western world are eagerly trying to slam the cell door shut on you. Are you prepared for this eventuality, or are you just going to sit there smiling dumbly and doing nothing?
The Risk/Reward of the proposition is asymmetrical; if Digital ID and Age Verification are all a nothingburger, you'll have educated yourself a little about Linux and how your phones work. You'll be more technically savvy and improve your resistance to scams and criminals.
If it's NOT a nothingburger, and you do nothing, you have essentially made yourself a hostage to fortune. You are now buckled into a rollercoaster ride that you may not enjoy and from which there is now no escape.
You can always make a choice in life, but choices are always easier to make earlier in the day than later - and the difficulty of maintaining some semblance of digital sovereignty in a world that is determined to snatch it from you does not scale linearly, it scales exponentially, much as it's easier to open a door by the handle than the hinges.
Ultimately, even if this isn't about politics or privacy for you, it is about defending your physical and digital property rights in a world where there is much money to be had in snatching them away from you.
The very concept of "ownership" is becoming murky or practically unenforceable in a world where maintaining control of your hardware and data is constantly being undermined. You may "own" a phone, but if the phone can be remotely updated to lock you out of it until you scan your retina - do you really own it at all?
You may safely store your important data in the cloud, yet do you really own its contents if it can be taken away from you at a moment's notice?
Speaking more broadly, to what extent do you own something - anything at all - that can rewrite the nature of your relationship with it at any time and with no notice?
You cannot prevent these companies from rewriting the basis of the deal upon which you signed up to them when it suits them, and increasingly you can't even control the government or what THEY sign you up to either.
There will be no public announcement that politely informs you of these things, you will just quietly wake up on a day much like any other, only to find that you cannot do anything without the say-so of either the government or someone in Silicon Valley.
No one will give you the opportunity to decide "no, actually, this isn't what I want - goodbye."
Take control now before it's too late.
PS Bollocks to the doomers, bollocks to the people who say it's too late, it's not worth it, it can't be done. Go be a peasant somewhere else.
We're banning raves, because we don't want you having fun where we can't watch you. By the way let me tell you about Woodstock.
We're cracking down on underage drinking. It's bad for you. Yeah of course we hit up the pubs at your age it was great.
We're banning smoking, but just for you - the smoking age will go up one year every year. Oh yes of course, we used to be able to smoke inside everywhere, it was great really.
We're banning flavored vapes. We don't have any evidence they're bad for you, you just like them too much.
We're banning dodgeball during recess, someone might get hurt. Yeah we really enjoyed dodgeball too.
We're banning flirting, because it might make the girls uncomfortable.
We're locking you in your room for the next two years. Yes we know you're in no danger from the virus, but we're worried that you'll get us sick. By the way you have to take this needle if you want to leave your room again. Yes, twice. Well there will be boosters too. No, we aren't worried about side effects, that doesn't effect us at all.
We're closing the frat houses, because we don't want you having fun without our permission. Please join these officially sanctioned university clubs instead.
We're bringing in labor from the third world to work the service jobs, so you can't have a summer job.
You need to go to university to get a good job. By the way we're raising the price of tuition. Oh look we're raising it again. Don't worry there are loans. At interest.
Actually we're giving the good jobs to the foreigners we just imported, to make up for our racist past. We are very good people. No of course we aren't sacrificing anything. You just have to take one for the team.
Also, we're giving the foreigners the houses. We needed to increase real estate prices. For our pensions, you see. Sadly no, you'll probably never be able to afford one yourself. By the way don't forget to pay your taxes. Need to support those pensions somehow! Eh? No, we're giving ourselves tax breaks of course. Seniors discount you know.
Oh by the way, that one thing you still have, now that we've banned joy and kicked every ladder out from under you? That social media stuff you kids like? You guessed it! We're banning that too! Just for you though, we're still going to watch AI videos on Facebook. It's for your safety, you see. We've noticed that you're all getting rather irate, and we think it would be better for your mental health if you shut up for a while. Why don't you just go outside?
Eh? No of course we aren't going to stop Ahmed and his twelve illiterate cousins from raping your sister, that would be culturally insensitive, which would make us feel very bad, and we can't have that.
I’m actually a child online safety expert and was one of the pioneers in this space with Club Penguin and so I feel uniquely positioned to critique this.
The groomer problem is real but it’s also vastly overstated. The far larger issue we saw at Penguin was suicidality or reports of sexual abuse in the home.
There is no solution for lazy/bad parenting. You can implement all the ID laws you want but if parents are going to just hand kids their phones unlocked, those kids will have access to all the same things the parents have unfettered.
What I found is that these draconian safety laws actually make it harder to be an honest operator of kids apps because on one hand it’s so much legal risk and so much user friction that it simply becomes uninvestible as a business.
Parents will just lie to let their kids use the unfettered internet. For example, I have a friend who works in mobile gaming who has two kids, one above and one below the age limit but separated by just 2 yrs, and the two wanted to play and chat together on Roblox - which is reasonable. To do this, he just verified that his younger kid is old enough for the chat feature when he’s not.
This happens all the time and will happen with these laws to. How far do we want to go with this? Scan the face of the user in real-time to make sure it’s not a kid using the device? We could do that but it feels like a massive unwanted intrusion of privacy.
That’s how you know this law isn’t about kids. COPPA and GDPR-K and so forth already make it illegal to allow chat and other grooming vectors to kids.
What’s really being done here is trying to eliminate online anonymity. And this is a far bigger issue that goes to core speech rights because if you cannot criticize the govt anonymously and if wrong speech is a crime then it becomes easy to identify all the detractors of the govt in power, and ban, fine or jail them for speech crimes.
Starmer has already been doing this and he wants to do it at a much bigger scale. Starmer won’t even acknowledge the problem of actual grooming gangs in Britain’s neighborhoods but he’s worried about online grooming?
No he’s not, and this hypocrisy gives away the game. What he wants is to kill online anonymity so he can enforce censorship of his unpopular policies. No politician should have this power.
@PeterSweden7 when they say it's to protect the children, they mean it's to protect themselves against the spreading of stories of how they failed to protect children
it's a crafty little trick
Let's be real.
The real reason that Britain is beginning to censor social media is because of things such as what police did to Henry Nowak.
It was covered up by the media.
But the truth came out on X.
That's why they want to censor social media.
To give you an idea of scale, during the Rape of Nanking, Japanese soldiers were estimated to have raped 20 to 80 thousand Chinese women.
This report estimates at least 250 thousand women were victimized by these Muslim rape gangs.
