Tonight my toddler noticed a spot on my face. “What’s that?” she asked. And when I smiled and said, “It’s a mole,” she broke down in tears and cried, “I DON’T LIKE IT!”

And just like that, years of working through an insecurity … right down the drain. ✌️🥲

Planned my entire day around a dermatology appointment this afternoon, only to realize it was on Monday and I missed it. “Pregnancy brain” is alive and well, I guess.
