No animal should have to endure this kind of suffering.

Today, the glue trap provisions of the Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Act 2024 come into force, bringing Scotland's ban on glue traps into effect after years of campaigning by the Scottish SPCA.

Glue traps are cruel, indiscriminate devices that inflict prolonged pain on any animal unfortunate enough to become caught in one. From today, anyone found possessing, using or selling a glue trap will face a fine of up to £40,000 or up to a year in prison.

Between 2023 and 2026, the Scottish SPCA received 48 reports of animals caught in glue traps, including bats, baby mice, seagulls, magpies and robins. Tragically, the two robins pictured had to be put to sleep after becoming trapped in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh in 2024 because their injuries were so severe.

The ban is a significant milestone in ending needless animal suffering, but our work isn't over. We'll continue campaigning for stronger animal welfare laws and a National Animal Welfare Strategy to give Scotland's animals the protection they deserve.

Elon Musk plans to establish a permanent colony on Mars of at least one million people and help SpaceX achieve a valuation of $7.5 trillion in the process. The article, SpaceX and the Sentient Sun, by Marc Andreessen and Michael McGuiness outlines how Musk has achieved similar 'impossible' goals in the past and is likely to succeed again by his sheer willpower and creativity.

However, what we have learned from multiple insiders, witnesses, and whistleblowers is that Mars already has colonies with significant populations that were abducted/tricked into going there on the premise that Earth was doomed.

According to Laura Eisenhower, great-granddaughter of President Eisenhower, she was pressured by a group of insiders to volunteer for the Mars project, which was run by none other than Dr. Hal Puthoff, who has been a key figure in the UFO disclosure process concerning revelations of crash retrieval operations and ET visitors.

My bet is that Musk will quickly achieve his goal of establishing a colony of one million on Mars, but it won't be because of thousands of rocket-propelled starships flying there packed with colonists. It will be because the existing Mars colonies need to be introduced to humanity without awkward questions being asked about how and when they got established.

Musk's plan for a million Mars colonists is a deception to hide from the rest of humanity what has been secretly occurring for more than 70 years on Mars, and the secret technologies that got them there and continue to be used in secret space programs.
