That's the wrong tack in my opinion. I shoot for transcendence.
I tell myself things like: Stewing on things holds me back. Time to move on. It's part of life--I'm not so special I can expect to never get treated badly or even backstabbed. I'll take my lesson from it and be better off.
And I tell myself: that guy's a shithead. He's not a victim. He could be better but he isn't. Maybe he has lessons yet to learn. But that's all his problem. Not mine (anymore).
I push angry thoughts out of my head as soon as I can. For me, it works pretty well.
@ArtemisConsort Also, she's literally, in this post, insinuating horrible things and not clearly saying what she means.
She's doing the exact thing she's complaining about.
@WomanCorn So what your post meant to say/insinuate was:
"The problem with race/IQ is not a free speech problem. It's that all the people pointing it out..." *want the genocide of all black people.*
This is what you believe? I think that's crazy. Obviously you don't believe this.
@stackerco I think they're being slippery here with "in the region." Camels appear to have been domesticated between 4000 BC and 2500 BC.
Also Abraham wasn't from the region.
Also absence of archeological evidence does not prove absence of domestication.
