Two more sleeps until our in person PYP Exhibition. Wild to think in four years we haven’t had one due to Covid and this is our first in person one since I’ve been at the school. Can’t wait to see our new approach with a student led interactive workshop model! #PYPX#IBPYP
This morning, the Grade 1 boys welcomed some special guests to join them in their Writing Celebration: the Grade 1 girls from @seisentweets. The St. Mary’s boys and Seisen girls each brought one of their best pieces of writing to share with other students during the gallery walk.
A brilliant way to start the year! So many timely reminders about connection before curriculum and “planning in response to learning”. Thank you Tania 👏 looking forward to our continued collaboration with you!
#igbiscc First two sessions of the conference and I have 11 pages of notes! Thank you @trev_mackenzie for an incredible keynote and interactive workshop. I love the way you fire questions at a lighting bolt speed, so many practical ideas to explore within our school.
“Don't try to change the world, find something that you love And do it every day Do that for the rest of your life And eventually, the world will change.” Macklemore - Growing Up
Love this student developed version of the stretch zone by our Grade 1 teacher Ms Nana & her class. What does each learning zone feel like through images? Comfort: Lying down with a Coke!
@seoulofaleader@Miss_MelissaBee Thank you for the incredible Anti bias and Antiracism Education in the Early Years Session. New ideas for materials, resources, provocations, books and language. I was challenged to consider ideas I had not previously thought about. Thank you!
Watching ‘The Pixar Story’ - “art challenges technology, technology inspires art” (John Lasseter) Fired from Disney to then revolutionize the animation world. Truly inspiring. We need to see more art + tech collaborations in education #ilovepixar
Thank you @walkerlearning an amazing PD in quarantine! Planning with purpose-explicit learning intentions for play. “Creativity is the gateway to problem solving.” Providing an invitation to play, and how will this invitation SUSTAIN interest? #play#IBPYP#Montessori#merging!
Our Jerusalema Dance Challenge! St. Raphaela wished for people from all around the world to be united like the fingers on the hand.
We hope that in the midst of this still challenging time of Covid-19 that this will bring a small smile to your day.

“We shouldn’t expect our youngest learners to navigate the internet”, instead we are the ‘curators’ of the internet! #ToddleTIES ❤️ this! This is our number 1 skill set.
Library at the heart of the school & inquiry workshop. “Selling your resources as more engaging than google!” Love this librarian mindset. #ToddleTIES
