@Richard60225391@JoJoFromJerz Democrats aren't voting for him. However, when he drops out or loses, he can always switch parties and then the Republicans will vote him right in.
@Tfaul4821@marmur2010@AP Yes, is was in the afternoon. He very well may be confusing us with Texas. From what I understand, the couple didn't have emergency alerts turned on. I didn't even realize that was a thing you could do and don't understand why you would turn it off.
@Tfaul4821@AP Yes, we got several warnings. The problem is that by the time it even started raining people only had a few minutes to get out because of the unpredictable amount of exactly where the rain fell on the burn scars.
An insider trading scandal is brewing.
Trump's 9:30am tweet makes it clear he was eager for his people to make money off the private info only he knew. So who knew ahead of time and how much money did they make?
@Blueelectron4 Also, thank you. It's so disheartening on this platform to say or do anything and your reply helps me know we are all still fighting on the platforms they thought they could just buy out
Last night I stood up for those who need Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Democrats will never abandon the fight to make sure every American has a safe, healthy, and financially secure life. #ISaidWhatISaid
The arc:
1. “It wasn’t a Nazi salute.”
2. “Maybe it was a Nazi salute but it was a joke.”
3. “It wasn’t a joke but it was owning the libs.”
4. “It wasn’t owning the libs but so what?”
5. “Actually, Hitler had some good ideas….”
@Victorshi2020 As someone who lives in a high fire danger area, only to have a third of our town burn down last June, I've seen first hand how quickly a fire can get out of control in high winds. Sometimes nature is something man has no way to fight.
Trump:
-ended with millions of fewer jobs than he began with
-shot up unemployment
-increased the national debt by 40%
-skyrocketed the debt-to-GDP ratio to over 130%
-increased the trade deficit by over 30%
-gave over $400 billion in federal contracts to companies who offshored US jobs
-lost manufacturing jobs
-and even worked with Saudi Arabia and Russia to reduce oil production to drive up the price of gas
Trump isn't good for the economy. He is a disaster.
@NMoonitz@pattonoswalt@primantibros When they actively support legislation that will harm or unalive the people I love, then yes, yes I do. You can't say you love women or POC or the LGBTQIA+ community and then support people like this.
@HadMatterhorn@mekdahl@itsJeffTiedrich He wouldn't "just" become a dictator. He and his cronies have been laying it out for years to make it possible. This isn't something that happens overnight. With the right people in scotus giving him immunity and the carefully laid out plans of the project, it can happen.
@Jimmypisfunny Watching people who couldn't back up their F150 to get their bass boat off the trailer argue with engineers and ship captains about if a cargo ship bigger than a skyscraper could steer without power is truly a sight to behold though.
