Not sure who's fault this issue is, but can someone explain this drop and go crash please? My branch said they can't provide any tracking numbers, yet the parcels are starting to arrive before me or my clients have recieved tracking. 👎
These teeny bowls are so fun to throw. I love to see how far I can push the clay, and use the centrifugal force of the wheel to help form the shape. This means you have to work really fast and get them off the wheel before they collapse. They normally take under a minute.
Another bauble picture from December, this one showing the tiny signed tags I make as there's nowhere to easily stamp the bauble itself.
No new finished work to share yet, I'm still working on my '100 miniatures' project. Must remember not to work like a machine.

I was completely worn out towards the end of last year, as a result I barely shared any photos of my Christmas baubles back in December. No harm in sharing a few now. 😂🤗
A close up of an ivory bauble, hand thrown, hand decorated with slip dots & hand painted with gold lustre.
Dotting more minis today. Exploring new forms and revisiting others.
I have around 40 on my shelves ready for their first firing. I'm tempted to make a hundred and call my next online exhibitions '100 Miniatures'.

More minis in the making!
I'm loving the curvy double bellied forms, I've been sketching ideas like this for years but I've never been able to turn any successfully till recently. Something just clicked and now I'm turning out dozens. Yay!

Finally back in the studio properly for the year! Up to date with all my admin till April. This makes me happy.
I've got a million new ideas, so I'm spending today doing a few sketches and I'll be back at the wheel this afternoon.

Reflecting on my various collections of the year, I keep coming back to photos of my 'Made London' collection. Blues and whites. A winner in pottery.
Here's a few of the miniatures. From 3.75 to 6.5 cm high (1.5 to 2.5 inches)

I appeared on Channel 4's 'Keep Crafting & Carry On' today, very grateful to Raise the Roof Productions 😊
