Liam's Story...

Liam was diagnosed with leukemia at just 11 months old.
His first Christmas. His first haircut. His first birthday.
All spent in the hospital.
Over the years, Liam faced four leukemia diagnoses, multiple relapses, and ultimately a lifesaving bone marrow transplant. Thanks to pediatric research and patient support funded by Blood Cancer United, that transplant worked.

Today, nearly three after that transplant, Liam is cancer free for the first time in his life!!

Now he’s back to being a kid. Fishing. Going to school. Collecting Pokémon. And dreaming of becoming a teacher who creates safe spaces for kids facing hard things.

Liam’s story is exactly why advancing less toxic, more effective treatments for children with cancer matters.
