@BestBuy@BestBuySupport@BestBuyCSR@KatyPolice@ArvestBank
In February, my daughter went to a Best Buy store in Springfield, Missouri and purchased a $50 item. Several hours later at a Best Buy store in Katy Texas someone walked in and purchased a $1200 iPad using her stolen debit card number. When we discovered it was fraud, we contacted the bank Who immediately issued her credit. Best Buy did their initial investigation and is claiming that it was not fraud which makes no sense since she couldn’t be in two places at one time. I have called the Best Buy support team over 11 times, filed multiple reports, including two police reports andhave left voicemails for the store manager and Katy, Texas and Arvest bank has been working to try to correct the situation. My daughter is 24 years old - $1200 is a lot of money for her. Best Buy is clearly doing some kind of inside job with their employees and no one is taking responsibility. It is truly disgraceful that customers can be treated this way. The lack of concern from the Best Buy team has been disturbing. Shame on you, Best Buy!
FDA taking another look at eye therapy rejected under Makary
Advisory committee to consider low-dose atropine from Sydnexis following FDA setback.
For eight months, Sydnexis has argued that FDA's rejection of SYD-101, its low-dose atropine drop for pediatric myopia, contradicted widely accepted medical practice. The company has garnered support from ophthalmologists, the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal, and politicians. Now it will make that case to an advisory committee.
The advisory committee will not be asked to determine if Sydenxis Inc. hit the primary endpoint in its Phase III trial. In a trial the company says is the largest ever conducted in pediatric myopia, SYD-101 achieved the primary endpoint, reducing the proportion of patients with confirmed progression of -0.75 D compared to placebo (p=0.0226), and a secondary endpoint, annual progression rate.
The committee will instead take up a more fundamental question: whether the slowing of refractive progression the trial recorded is clinically meaningful at all, and whether it would lower the future risk of the retinal complications that make high myopia dangerous. FDA says the data failed to make the case.

The answer may depend on who is sitting at the table.
We hope the FDA will stop torpedoing promising drugs, but the story of biotech firm Sydnexis’s battle with the bureaucracy suggests more obstacles ahead.

"I'm with you" Powerful words. Thank you to the amazing and brave officers of the @Austin_Police the city of Austin is forever indebted to you. My daughter was in one of those bars and thankfully she's ok. The amount of lives saved by your actions is immeasurable. I will never forget how you ran towards danger. You are all heroes. ♥️
@adamfeuerstein@markland_55@BrianSkorney 100 % agree. Ad Comms give the FDA the opportunity to LEARN and ask questions so they are not making decisions in a vacuum.
This is really a good take. The key issue here is that there is subjectivity around "substantial evidence", "reasonably likely", "clinically meaningful". We need to better define the regulatory criteria that we want as a society through legislation. In the mean time, we should be doing more AdComs for these things where all stakeholders can be heard and a decision can be made by a panel of experts. Empowering one person at FDA is problematic for a number of reasons.

Sad but true. We are truly falling behind. Approving a Low Dose Atropine is not complicated, and US kids are the ones suffering... @US_FDA@MartyMakary
So let me get this straight...
Lane Kiffin takes LSU job, stating that recruiting to LSU, the stadium, etc. as a better chance to win a Natty than Ole Miss.
Brings entire Offensive coaching staff, including stud OC Weis Jr who thinks they can land Chambliss if he gets waiver
Fires "King of Louisiana" Frank Wilson, LSU's best recruiter. Hires his RB Coach Kevin Smith because he thinks he'll bring Lacy
Ole Miss hires Frank Wilson
Lane tries to lure away Lacy, Chambliss, Carneiro, Echols and others
Ole Miss now has commitments from Lacy and Chambliss to stay - not a single Ole Miss starter has hit the portal and only one non-starter transfering to LSU
Ole Miss and Portal Pete have signed or projected to sign:
So Miss star LB Chris Jones (133 tackles LY)
Colo DL Jeheim Oatis
FL DT Michai Boireau (#4 DL in portal)
FL DB Sharif Denson
Baylor LB Keaton Thomas
DE Jonathan Maldonado
Aub stud CB Jay Crawford
Rumored to have Deuce Knight on the way
Rumored to have a top IOL Carius Curne coming from LSU
Ole Miss currently ranks 3rd in portal ranks, LSU ranks 56th per On 3
Oh...and Ole Miss is 1 game from a Natty

Today is National Taco Day and we'd be remiss if we didn't post anything from our headquarters in Austin, Texas. Tacos aren't just a food here, they are a way of life, a taste of home and all the goodness wrapped up in corn or flour. And thank you, El Arroyo for the laughs.
