I used to do something similar with my students and though they struggled at first, the challenge to come up with the WORST ideas became very liberating for them and freed them to take risks they wouldn't have otherwise.

.@ABSIConnect I think your point is important. In the University space we have to be careful about breaking out of our own silo and engaging with the rest of the world. With making sure that the great research is being shared so we can learn and always do better. #socinnchat
