@MedCouncilCan, back again to question what role you fulfill in the current educational landscape beyond charging inordinate fees including $250 licensure + $205 in account fees despite NOT providing an exam. What is this money for? Please don't say administrative fees.
@sweidanmd@IDdocAdi I love my training. Just a question of where it can be better and more compassionate. I think this conversation has reached a natural endpoint. Happy thanksgiving from Canada.
The @MedCouncilCan's poor handling of the transition to online examination has served as a much needed impetus to revisit the utility of this examination altogether. [3]
Inspired by the recent conversations about the cost barriers in the path to medicine... @cpso_ca, in the modern era of CBME, nationwide medical school accreditation, and @Royal_College examination, why do you mandate completion of the MCCQE as a requirement for licensure? [1]
Historically, given the paucity of inter-provincial reciprocity, limited standardization of medical curricula and the absence of an assessment of competency, the LMCC examination had an important role to play. This exam now seems redundant and needlessly cost-prohibitive. [2]
Today over 100 students from Queen's University became doctors, with their friends, families, and future colleagues cheering them on. So proud to be among them (with my high school grad cap and a hood made by my mom)... #QMed#SoMeDocs#SGN@somegoodnews @QueensUGME
@MedCouncilCan, @CFMSFEMC and @PrometricGlobal This rollout was unfortunately an unmitigated disaster... Please, a reset with a well-formed plan to accommodate the volume of participants. Perhaps a staggered scheduling system based on lottery.
@MedCouncilCan@CFMSFEMC Your objective of providing a fair and balanced MCCQE-I registration process has failed. Applicants have been using various loop-holes (including making use of the old prometric portal) to overcome the bugged process. Please consider a reset and redo.

Honestly one of the saddest parts of my day is when I get the message that the zoom meeting has ended.................. but also the extended isolation.
