Get a grip. No, overall federal funding for childhood cancer research was not cut in the final FY2026 budget.
The Trump administration proposed a ~37% cut to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), but Congress rejected it. The enacted bill gives NCI $7.35 billion β an increase of $128 million over FY2025 β and includes $30M for the Childhood Cancer STAR Act + $50M for the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative.
There were some earlier setbacks (e.g., ending one specific brain tumor consortium), but core funding and key pediatric programs were preserved and modestly boosted.6956b8

@BreitbartNews Embarrassing. Not to mention inaccurate, cramps usually last 1-3 days, not 5. Take a motrin like the rest of us did and shut your mouth. Why is everything "violence" with these people?
