@PhoenixEdSarah It certainly does but if you have the confidence to trust the process it is life changing. It has given me autonomy over my days. I have found regular and more predictable work through associate roles. It enables me to be creative with my coaching business as it grows.
@MissP0609 Have ypu considered coaching? I have worked with many educators who have benefited from short term coaching to address the balance. Putting time aside to reflect on priorities can make a real difference.

@Mc2000Mrs I think when we are working with children who are upset and angry we are great at de-escalating. I try to rely on the same scripts when it is an adult.

Where this pandemic is concerned, we're all in the same storm but we are not all in the same boat. Some are in huge yachts and can hardly feel a ripple, some are in smaller boats which are listing slightly to port, some are rowing, exhausted and some are in the water, drowning.
I know this is an obvious thing to say, but pupils aren’t at risk of underachieving because they are ‘pupil premium’... rather, their learning may be impacted by socio-economic disadvantage. It’s important to focus on addressing / negating impact of disadvantaged on *learning*.
