It is crazy that party crossing is permitted in Canada. Given Canadians do not vote for their executive (PM) directly, voters choose MPs primarily along party lines as a proxy for voting for the PM. Crossing the floor is an explicit subversion of the will of the constituents.

The new GPT-4o demo is mindblowing - the latency is astonishingly low, and they managed to get inference cost down as compared to 4-turbo. Insane that I can just ctrl-f references to GPT-4-turbo in my code and instantly get access to upgraded models
