Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has signalled the possibility of legislating January 26 as Australia Day to prevent future date changes as he blamed “woke CEOs and a weak prime minister” for undermining the celebration.

$XRP transactions verses $SOL
Currently $XRP is doing more transactions than $ETH $SOL and $BTC combined

The government’s boot has been on Ripple’s neck for at least 4 years while ETH and BTC were given free-passes.
You think XRP doesn’t deserve its third position based on its tech? It’s 1000x faster and 10000x cheaper to transact than both BTC and ETH, while maintaining the same level of security. Why do you think the government tried to stop XRP? I’ll tell you: Because XRP is technologically superior to BTC and ETH and it’s actually disruptive to TradFi. BTC and ETH are too inefficient to be disruptive. That’s why.
Meanwhile, there are $60B coins with dogs on them and no one is complaining about them being overvalued. Odd.
It's crazy how people who have been in crypto for years and claim they are experts in the industry haven't done the basic research and just repeat what others say. XRPL is literally the OG DeFi chain, introduced the very first DEX in 2012, first blockchain to allow you to create tokens, first to have stablecoins and many other innovations that at that time didn't have a name.
And what @ChainLinkGod described, was literally done by Ethereum and the newer ecosystems, take existing innovations from XRPL and Ripple and just give them a new name. Also fun fact: Vitalik was an intern at Ripple in 2013 and "stole" the smart contract idea from them where at that time they were building a blockchain-agnostic smart contract system ( @codiusproject ).
In the end, it's about advancing the industry as a whole and working together, not going into tribalism and childish actions.
This North Carolina man totally nailed it when asked about why he's voting for Trump
"I find it funny that as soon as he became a Republican, he became a racist. But name me a that racist that won an NAACP award."
