Often overlooked is the Frankfurt School’s central role, alongside French postmodernists, in forging Critical Theory and exporting it to America, where it evolved into one of the most influential (destructive) ideologies of our time.
The Institute for Social Research was founded in Frankfurt in 1923 as an avowedly Marxist institution.
When the European working class refused to fulfill Marx’s prophecy of revolution, Max Horkheimer and his colleagues changed course.
They developed Critical Theory: not a tool for economic reform, but a sophisticated intellectual weapon designed to dismantle Western culture, the family, traditional authority, and the very concepts of objective reason and truth.
Driven into exile by the Nazis, the Frankfurt School relocated to Columbia University in the United States. There, its ideas took root in academia and spread outward.
This framework provided the direct intellectual foundation for Critical Race Theory. CRT simply replaced class with race while retaining the same core premises:
society is a zero-sum power struggle between oppressors and oppressed, objective truth is a myth deployed by the powerful, and Western institutions are inherently racist by design.
The consequences surround us: classrooms saturated in racial grievance, corporations imposing divisive DEI mandates, and a culture that has abandoned merit, colorblindness, and individual responsibility in favor of equity, identity politics, and inherited guilt.
The Frankfurt School never aimed to improve the West. It trained generations in the art of deconstructing and ultimately destroying it.
The antidote is to reclaim truth, merit, reason, and the foundational values of Western civilization.
The “long march through the institutions” began here. It is time to march back.
The Australian Labor Party is leaning so hard right now into promoting ethnic and religious sectarianism - it genuinely appears to be their number one political strategy for all future elections and it’s extremely alarming.
Consider this example today. Here we have Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong greeting a political conference for “future Chinese Australian leaders” - basically adhering to the PRC’s blood and soil line that all ethnically Han Chinese people are still “Chinese” no matter what, even if their families have five generations history in Australia, even if they migrated from countries like Malaysia like Penny Wong’s own family.
I thought we were all supposed to be Australian?
The Australian Labor Party appears to be borrowing here from UK Labour’s strategy of asymmetric multiculturalism - actively promoting and encouraging minority sectarian identities while badgering the majority culture to suppress its own expressions of community identity.
Think of how few Australian Labor federal politicians celebrated Easter and Australia Day compared to ethno-religious holidays and festivals like Ramadan and Chinese New Year.
Think of Labor Premier Jacinta Allan insisting that Australia is a “nation of foreigners” with literally no common core culture or national identity. This is their strategy of assymetric multiculturalism.
Where are the political conferences for future Irish Australian leaders, Italian Australian leaders, Anglo Australian leaders? Why was I never invited to shake the Foreign Minister’s hand at a political conference for “future Greek Australian leaders”? LMAO.
These conferences don’t exist because they would be seen as ridiculous in a society where these groups long ago were expected to assimilate into a common Australian culture.
But Labor now appears to want to undermine civic nationalism and a common civic culture. It seems like they want to divide up the population of Australia along dozens of different ethno-religious community lines. They want to deal with unelected community “bosses” to turn out the vote, like the era of Tammany Hall Irish ward bosses in New York City.
It’s a disgrace
@kingkapoor72 Yes, that's right. Even the compassionate Buddhism holds thunderous means to subdue evil demons and heretics. Peace is only effective toward religions that are reasonable and can coexist peacefully.
German Chancellor Merz:
We are simply no longer productive enough. Each individual may say, “I already do quite a lot.” And that may be true.
But when you return from China, ladies and gentlemen, you see things more clearly.
With work-life balance and a four-day week, long-term prosperity in our country cannot be maintained. We will simply have to do a bit more.
On Canadian mediocrity:
"British High Commissioner to Canada John McMoran Wilson reserved some of his harshest criticism for what he saw as Canadian mediocrity and a lack of talent. “Anyone who is even moderately good at what they do—in literature, the theatre, skiing or whatever—tends to become a national figure,” he observed in a secret 1984 report on Canada for the UK government.
“[A]nyone who stands out at all from the crowd tends to be praised to the skies and given the Order of Canada at once.”
In 2023, the Governor General awarded 163 Orders of Canada, including one for improving “standards in accounting” and another for advancing “rug hooking as an art form”. One may well wonder if our bar for national greatness is set just a few centimetres lower than in other countries."

In the 19th century we’d be sending Jacob Frey to some far-off colonial outpost to pacify the native tribes and ensure the continued flow of natural resources
In 2025 we have to send him to Minneapolis
Far from a debunker of classical nationalism, Benedict Anderson was its advocate, presciently fearful that mass migration and communications technology would weaken the nation-state’s assimilatory power, fuelling today’s “ethnicisation” process: https://t.co/rrS0WwWNZi
Radical Islam has DESTROYED Europe.
If we don’t call out this extreme ideology, America will be next.
I REFUSE to sit idly by and let that happen.
BAN SHARIA LAW.
many of you need to read the canonical book on leftist political violence. it can get so much worse than this. yes things seem bad and are worsening but we are at a relative lull in leftoid political violence.
from '70-'79, there were 2500+ attempted and successful bombings in the US, with 1400 actual detonations. the main groups were the weather underground, the black liberation army, the symbionese liberation army, FALN (puerto rico marxist separatists), macheteros (PR separatists), the united freedom front (marxist - anti-colonialists), M19CO (white marxists allied with BLA), NWLF (CA based eco-anarchists).
this wasn't so long ago. many of the people responsible are still living. many of them not only avoided meaningful punishment but became part of the leftist establishment and were given cushy university sinecures. a few notables:
- bill ayers, founder of the weather underground. he became a professor of education at the university of illinois at chicago and advised on chicago school reform in the 90s.
- bernardine dohrn (ayers' wife), cofounder of weather underground. became a clinical associate professor of law at northwestern
- angela davis, member of communist party USA, associated with black panthers, provided weapons for a shootout that left 4 dead, tried for conspiracy, kidnapping, murder, acquitted. became a professor of philosophy at UC Santa Cruz. numerous honorary degrees.
- susan rosenberg, member of M19CO, convicted for possessing 740 pounds of explosives and illegal weapons, sentenced 58 years. commuted by clinton in 01. became a writer and activist, on the board of leftist nonprofits including managing donations for BLM.
- judith clark, member of M19CO, convicted felony murder, sentenced 75 years. commuted in 2016. became a well known educator and writer.
- joanne chesimard, member of black liberation army. convicted of killing NJ state trooper. busted out of jail in 79 with help of M19CO. fled to cuba and granted asylum, still on FBI most wanted. became a celebrated icon in radical and academic left circles
- mark rudd, cofounder of weather underground. avoided long prison time, became a math instructor at a community college in new mexico
- cathlyn wilkerson, member of weather underground. served 11 months in prison. became a math teacher
- kathy boudin (chesa's mom), member of WU. convicted of felony murder. became an adjunct professor at columbia, codirecting the criminal justice initiative. i know.
- david gilbert (chesa's dad), member of WU. sentenced to 75 years. granted clemency by Cuomo in 2022.
- eleanor raskin, member of WU. became an administrative law judge in NY and taught at albany law school
we have forgotten the lessons of the recent past. leftist political violence was abundant and effective, and its leadership largely escaped meaningful punishment, and were folded into the leftist establishment of academia, nonprofits, and literary elite. if we forget the lessons of history we will repeat them. no more commutations for extremist leftist violence. no more permitting academia to provide a safe haven or valuable sinecures to former terrorists.
