Would anyone be kind enough to answer a few quick questions on the A-level Edexcel spec for me? Read the spec so many times I’m in a circle! @Whitehughes @robotmaths @Sheena2907
@Rose_Rover@missradders@TheMathsBazaar@MathsNot Might be worth saying where you are based and looking for teachers from local schools who teach FM to see if they can scribe …. Poor lad though I would find that so hard I’m rubbish at ‘maths aloud’ and have so much of it in muscle memory

@MrsGusMaths@CantabKitty@Advanced_Maths I would look at timetabling and classes generally, whoever gets 11 set 1 this year doesn’t get a level, but can get it next year etc …. Split so in each yr group you have an experienced teacher and less experienced teacher
@MrsGusMaths@mathsjem@Corbettmaths@MrMorleyMaths I mean I did past papers myself and realised how little I had remembered (I had quite a break between my a level and starting to teach a level) but I had the professional integrity to get myself up to speed before teaching it!
@MrsGusMaths@mathsjem@Corbettmaths@MrMorleyMaths I would have hated this, and probably would have not done well though my feedback and results as an a-level teacher have been very good! AMSP courses giving them time to get to know the course and support would surely be far better ….
@pepemac27@MathsImpact Very true in teaching as well, the odd tenner being spent here and there by teachers as it’s just far to much admin to get it approved, but at the end of the day I bet it’s a significant cost teachers are spending
@originalcotts could I please have a reply to my email, not about to DM you as not a verified account so can you please DM me so I can give booking ref etc
Whole school events - any ideas? For very small school (Approx 40 students per year) all girls yr7-11
We are wanting to do some more ‘whole school activities’ - we currently do house events which involve all girls and girls working together across year groups but want to (1/n)
Looking at creating some ‘drop down’ sessions throughout the year to bring the whole school together with a PHSEE focus - with different groups of girls working together.
Thank you !
more with a PHSEE focus - with girls across year groups working together
Any ideas ?
For example we are celebrating empathy week next week - what have people done ‘whole school’ other than assemblies for weeks like this (2/3)
@mikelavelle93 Clearly Mollie believed they were both faithfuls she was basically saying who she would prefer to split the money with - she didn’t think there were any traitors left ….. she didn’t believe Jazz’s theory that Harry was a traitor - doesn’t mean she though Jazz was one.
