I am the head teacher of Charlton Manor Primary and a fitness instructor at the local gym. I believe children learn best through practical experiences.
Very jealous of the fantastic children at @charltonmanor - keep up the great work @headteacher_ and the rest of the team, and thanks so much for hosting @Tamasin_Ford and I for the day #BBCFoodChain https://t.co/HbiovwDTVH

A great end to the week. Year 4 enjoying a Tudor feast. The children could recount the topic so well. They were really immersed in the learning. Fantastic.
A wonderful first week back at school. Thank you all for the good wishes and welcome backs. It was wonderful to see the continued great learning from the children and the creative lessons by the staff.

@McGowanKim @JeanetteOrrey @jasorourke@SAfoodforlife@prendergastpri1 Our pupils @charltonmanor have been learning about food, nutrition and using cooking to learn ALL subjects for many years now and they love it and live it. We have produced a book called 'Now We're Cooking' that gives examples of what we do.
Congratulations to our @Royal_Greenwich bin operatives who have really rallied to complete all the rounds across the Borough this week - an essential service. Well done!
Almost 1300 people entered North Greenwich station on Friday morning.
The station is vital for many key workers, but to help keep them and yourself safe, only travel if absolutely essential.
Outstanding lessons versus expert teachers.
Outstanding lessons = often one off displays of well rehearsed routines.
Expert teachers = Good. Every day. Occasionally ‘outstanding’. Natural.
