25% risk of death when admitted with Covid across the UK in the first 13 months. As high as 50% mortality rates in hospital when it arrived.

Anyone questioning lockdowns or the seriousness of a pandemic now has clearly forgotten that.

NHS Covid vaccine eligibility is being narrowed in 2027 to people *over 80* and a narrow set of immunosuppressed. Nobody challenges this stupidity, but we wonder why, with no mitigations & the worst eligibility in Europe, we have the worst health outcomes.

People in other countries often don't believe me about how badly we are provided with Covid vaccines here.

The government has just limited the age availability to *over 80s*.

The government itself is antivax.

This isn't just inhumane- knowingly leaving vulnerable people at the mercy of a virus that could destroy their health/kill them- it's a false economy. The public cost of vaccine is likely to be vastly less than the cost of dealing with health consequences of not vaccinating 🤦

The eligibility for an NHS Covid vaccine was already EXTREMELY limited (see 🧵 below)…

…but just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get any worse, the JCVI have just recommended to narrow the criteria EVEN FURTHER!

Now the age criteria is limited to 80 yrs+!
