This is awesome to see🦾 "More than 45,000 Veterans rely on VA each year for major limb loss care."
"On April 22, 2026, VA Secretary Doug Collins exempted approximately 95% of prosthetic limb orders from contracting officer reviews and determined that only the most expensive prosthetic limbs would continue to be subject to these reviews."
“Every day counts for Veterans. By removing needless bureaucracy, VA is enabling clinicians and procurement teams to provide Veterans with high-quality prosthetic care, better and faster than before,” said VA Secretary Doug Collins."

Memorial Day carries a deep emotion for many of us.
For most Americans, it marks the unofficial start of summer — a weekend filled with sunshine, cookouts, laughter, and time with the people we love. But for many families, it also carries a quiet heaviness. A reminder of the ones who never made it home.
For years, I struggled with how to truly honor that kind of sacrifice. How do you ever repay a debt that great?
After a lot of reflection, I’ve come to believe this:
The best way we can honor the fallen is to live fully in their memory.
To live the life they no longer have the chance to live.
To be better. To love harder. To chase purpose. To embrace the freedoms they gave everything to protect. To spend time with family, laugh with friends, watch sunsets, make memories, and appreciate the simple gift of being here.
This weekend, take a moment to remember the brave men and women who gave everything for this country.
And then live for them.
Live a life worthy of their sacrifice.
Because if they could speak to us one more time, I truly believe that’s exactly what they’d want us to do.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Some of us don’t talk about it.
Not because we don’t want to… but because we don’t know how.
We were taught to push through.
To carry it.
To handle it on our own.
And for a while, that works.
Until it doesn’t.
There are things people don’t see — the weight you carry, the battles you fight in your own head, the nights that feel longer than they should.
Just because someone looks okay doesn’t mean they are.
If you’re struggling — you’re not weak.
You’re human.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
Check on your people.
Have the hard conversations.
Say something, even if you don’t have the perfect words.
Because the strongest thing you can do…
is not pretend you’re fine when you’re not.
