Sam is a person with a disability,travels @amtrak and wants to use a companion coupon he earned, he can't because he already gets a 10% discount.He can't forego his 10% discount to use his coupon. What is wrong with this policy? Others can pick and choose coupons. #discrimination

Where does it end @Amtrak ? I can not understand why @amtrak can get away with discrimination against people with disabilities over and over and OVER and nothing happens, nothing changes! As a federal contractor, they should set a positive example of equal treatment for all.

The Air Carriers Access Act is designed to guide airlines in dignified and respectful behavior for those with disabilities. So many injustices on our @AveloAir
flight, some clear violations, others blatant acts of disrespect that no one should ever have to experience

Mary was waiting on the phone with @wherewelive @wnpr to ask @CTDPH commissioner why they figured out how to offer vaccinations to home care workers yet couldn't offer the same protection to the people they care for (who would have been in nursing homes but for services)

@ConnConnection was literally sick to my stomach when I read that. Don't they understand that people with disabilities are mostly locked in their homes with not chance to "organize". Since when does CT not consider a single voice important. sad #HighRiskCT

@em_brindley Emily it is much bigger than that. You're a smart woman, think about it. It's a group being disregarded, I'm sure data shows that people with sever medical conditions are at higher risk as a healthy 65 year olds. why isn't it being talked about?
