Bu yazı, Hicrî 110 yılının Şaban ayının başlangıcından on gün sonra kaleme alınmıştır.”

There's also another remarkable inscription that also confirms yet another authentic Hadith...

It was written by Khalid, a freed slave who served a Lady called Abiyyah, who turned out to be the granddaughter of the companion "Usama bin Zayd bin Haritha" r.a.

Usama bin Zayd was like a son to the Prophet, he loved him dearly... and those who studied the companions already know Usama bin Zayd was nicknamed "the beloved of the Prophet" حِب رسول الله due to him being like an adopted son to the Prophet.

The inscription by Khalid says:
"I am Khalid, the servant of Abiyyah bint Hasan bin Usamah bin Zayd, the beloved person to the Messenger of Allah. And ask I God for Paradise."

In many Hadiths, like Hadith 1688 from Sahih Muslim, Lady Aisha reported that the companions used to nickname Usama bin Zayd as: "the beloved to the Prophet" also confirms the authenticity of Islam's major books of Hadith.

The Mālikī scholar Abū al-Mawāhib al-Yūsī (d. 1102 AH) narrates the salaf engaged in Kalām and Imām Mālik authored a treatise on these matters. (🧵)

“As for their claim that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) did not speak about this matter, it is a lie and a fabrication on their part. The early generations established the pure sources of proofs and evidences. Nothing was introduced after the Salaf except terminology and technical expressions. Such developments occurred in every branch of knowledge.”

Al-Yafrani related from al-Qarafi: I saw a response from Abu Hanifa to words written to him by Malik:

‘You engage in discussions concerning the foundations of religion (usul al-din), whereas the righteous predecessors did not engage in such discussions.’

Abu Hanifa replied that innovations (bidʿah) had not appeared in the time of the Salaf, and therefore they left such discussions. But in our time innovations have appeared; if we remained silent and did not answer them, we would effectively be approving them. Thus the situation has changed. This is an excellent response.

Shaykh Saʿd al-Din said in his commentary on al-Nasafiyyah:

‘In summary, kalam (theology) is the noblest of sciences because it is the foundation of the religious rulings, the chief of the religious sciences, its subject matter is Islamic beliefs, its goal is attaining happiness in both religion and worldly life, and its proofs are definitive arguments, most of which are supported by transmitted evidences.’

He said:

‘What has been transmitted from the Salaf regarding criticism of kalam and prohibition of it was only directed against those who are fanatical in religion, deficient in attaining certainty, or intent on corrupting the beliefs of the Muslims.’

Some scholars said:

‘Whoever disparages the science of tawhid (Islamic theology) has effectively denied the Qur’an and the Sunnah, for its proofs are derived from them.’

The scholars of rhetoric have explained the reality of the theological method, saying:

‘It consists of presenting an argument for the proposition under discussion…’

The Mālikī theologian al-Yūsī said: “I Say Rather, the Salaf certainly did engage in it. Among them were ʿUmar ibn al-Khattab, his son ʿAbd Allah, Ibn ʿAbbas the scholar of the Ummah and ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with them). Among the Successors (Tabiʿun) were ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz, Rabiʿah, Ibn Hurmuz, Malik, and al-Shafiʿi. Malik even authored his treatise on the subject before Imam al-Ashʿari”
