Great coaches don't yell at players just to release frustration and satisfy their own egos. Everything they say, and how they say it, is meant to help their players learn and perform as best as they can.
Proper preparation precedes production.
The quality of your results is directly related to the quality of your process.
“We don't rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”-Archilochus
Practice is where you prepare, so in a game you can perform.
Things you can control in games:

• Refs
• Fans
• Your opponent
• Bad luck
• Weather
• The past/future
To play your best, focus only on what you can control.
