Everyone is getting this Jimmy Kimmel thing wrong.

A) It's not cancel culture when it comes from the government. It is censorship and state repression, just like in traditional authoritarian regimes.

B) Kimmel wasn't taken off the air for crotizing Kirk. He was taken off for criticizing Trump's lack of concern for Kirk. It was a criticism of the government. This has nothing to do with "cancel culture" and everything to do with freedom of speech.

As a Respiratory Therapist who works ER yes! False negatives are common. You may test negative and be symptomatic but test positive 2 days later. So many come to the ER saying they were negative at home and pop positive in the hospital. Some even in the hospital test negative are tested again a couple days later when oxygen requirements increase…positive. This is one reason why it spreads in hospitals.

I just came across two #LongCovid articles in major outlets. Great! But, they both used photos from @MEActNet protests, but didn’t mention #MECFS once. Not even in the captions! Ironically, one author talked about long covid “erasure.” We’re allies but still here, too.

@agenttwelvetoes Glad I wasn’t the only one perplexed by this. Also, it’s pretty disturbing how many people just say, “Oh ok then!” when something IS for the benefit of trans people. The bigots are really telling on themselves…
