@ME_Vereniging@TRex1701@DocPriyamMD If your levels are severely low or you have iron-deficiency anaemia 1- which I did, dietary changes alone usually aren't enough.
@ME_Vereniging@TRex1701@DocPriyamMD But chronic anaemia is increasing common, even amongst children and rarely picked up/often misdiagnosed as symptoms of ADHD.
You cannot boost you iron + ferritin with iron tablets — that’s not how the body processes iron. How does the average person solve this problem?
@TRex1701@DocPriyamMD What do you do to keep your levels up? It’s quite a shock to find you’re extremely unwell, which can happen quite quickly if you’re overwhelmed with work/life.
@Glinner Happened twice in women’s changing room at my gym. I didn’t confront — stood v still and observed them. In both cases, they actively moved away/tried to further disguise their presence by hiding their faces behind their hair/wigs as women in various states of undress, unaware…
@TRex1701@DocPriyamMD I read that the one vitamin you never want to be deficient in is B12. D and Iron are also essential. I don’t know why they don’t run annual tests for anaemia—low iron levels are sometimes the first indicator of cancer.
@Dante_saintt@TheCinesthetic I think it’ll eventually come back for a 3rd season — hopefully. I read it was shelved due to exceptionally high production costs and low viewership, which sounds crazy because I see it talked about in almost every thread on ‘best Netflix series’.
@itsme_urstruly Venice, Italy. I was on a multi destination design trip, mostly looking forward to seeing Milan (loved it), but Venice took me by surprise. It is spectacular. Go when you can splurge on water taxis and with Venetians who’ll take you to view extraordinary private houses... 🤌🏽
@mpetrus19@newstart_2024 Dr Robert Zagar, semi retired, runs an exceptional practice in treating pain. A contemporary ballet dancer, he self ran a pain clinic in a Guatemalan jungle, before eventually settling in Highgate. Cured my frozen shoulder in 5 sessions — unheard of. https://t.co/X32eVhdOMS
@mpetrus19@newstart_2024 It’s every joint in the body and how we breathe—our mental state along with potential vitamin deficiencies, that impact our spine. Including emotional dysfunction (overwhelmed/lack of healthy processing…), are all factors to consider when treating back pain.
@newstart_2024 I’m reminded of this guy — video is 14 years old, but it is a compelling watch…
I suffered severe sciatic pain for most of my 30’s. Despite a fused disc, Pilates has transformed my spine. Haven’t experienced sciatic pain in years. Movement is life.

The Car Is Getting Too Expensive to Defend – Velorution
A personal note about the sponsors of the blog post — Bikmo bicycle insurance. When I had my first eclectic Brompton stolen (hand-held angle grinder attached to an absolute cretin), they were…1/2 https://t.co/CQi0Wo1Bnt
@beautyinnis@CrazyVibes_1 It had to have been cold, in the deeper waters or the kayaker would not have survived the drowning—he would have been without air for a significant time.
@default_friend I can’t really contribute to this other than to recommend following Sky Fisher on any platform. Her vast interests in reading material contributes to a well spoken/unique perspective on wide ranging subjects… https://t.co/7VfVrjwtZK
@bettytasticss Eventually, Tom from Condor Bicycles showed me (on repeat), and I got it. I think it’s a processing issue — like maps. I hate that you have to flip them to see the direction you’re headed to/not from.
@bettytasticss YouTube is an amazing resource — I especially love the ‘dad videos’ showing you how to unblock a drain. When it comes to electrical items + more complex tasks, some of us learn better in person.
It took me 10+ views to learn how to fold/unfold my Brompton and I still struggled.
@Romazehari More complex than that. There are many reasons, restaurant kitchens are male dominated: Men respond well to hierarchy, especially environments under pressure but with purpose + impact. I suppose there is an argument around significance + ego.
@rachel__rach@LordWalney For the majority (only a tiny % are truly dysphoric), it’s more a fear of feeling embarrassed/exposed as a fraud in front of other men because men care about male approval.
They target women’s spaces because they covet the idea of feeling significant. Noticed.
@LordWalney I find the use “really troubled” both apathetic and self serving. You’re a man and an ex MP. You understand perfectly well the issue + mechanisms for change.
No evidence that trans ID males are in danger of anything more than possible embarrassment, in the face of other men.
