@BrynnTannehill I would bet money that his name isn’t George Santos. He missed voting in two roll call votes last week. He sat silently when “Santos” was called. He was just sitting there. Who doesn’t hear their own name?
@djrothkopf Point taken, but the violence is taking place on the field as well. Watch how the players collide with one another and, especially, how they hit the ground. Bodies slam and heads bounce on almost every surface lay.
Narcissists have a sort of armor to protect their ill-formed psyches:
* Never confront
* Never criticize
* Never contradict
They will do whatever necessary to keep that armor intact. Many of his followers need the same armor. To protect Elon is to protect themselves.
I get why Elon is making up nonsense about doxxing and stalking and assassination threats—he had an emotional overreaction in public, got embarrassed, and is desperately trying to save face—and yeah, it's pretty pathetic. But others going to bat for such obvious BS? Geez.

@GovWhitmer@MuellerSheWrote I am overwhelmed with gratitude that you will remain at the helm of this great state. From the NW corner of the lower peninsula, thank you for your indefatigable efforts on behalf of all that is good and right.
@SeamusBlackley Makes sense. Now I understand why the typical CEO salary is 400x the median salary of the employees in his/her organization. I mean, knowing when to scream is hard.
@maxajl@triofrancos@jasonhickel @Beaskan @MGSchmelzer@nitaneise@SergioChaparro8 Btw, the @UpstreamPodcast is amazing! Tune in.

@CheriJacobus “By the time you catch on, it’s too late” is the crux of the right-wing strategy. They know that there must be battles (otherwise we would catch on right away how badly we are losing). When we do win, it is either too late or a “manageable loss” on their part.
@gaijingirl2004@Inchhighprivate True, but the USA didn’t actually give those $12.3B to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. They gave it to their bros in the military industrial complex.
@epicciuto I wonder how much they paid Malcolm Gladwell to appear on a podcast aimed at corporate executives and spew tropes about offices being “family” and “community?” Do you suppose he got paid extra for the tears?
People always say to “Be Authentic.” Yeah right. Whenever I have lapses of authenticity I tend to scare the dickens out of people.
Social skills are overrated.

We are reluctant activists and pragmatic idealists. But we know we need to do something. We’re trying to figure it out.
I'll say what those in the know have known for quite some time, but won't say out loud.
We are over.
We've been sold out by Garland, cong Dems, Biden, our media, SDNY, Manhattan DA, green room elites enamored with each other's celeb status, Lincoln Project, social media CEOs.
@CheriJacobus Ding. Ding. Ding. Now you are seeing it.
The slow walkers are an important part of the network. They keep out hope alive by always keeping decisive action just beyond their reach.
