@magicianbrain and now even that position is under threat. But I'm too bowled-over by Stable Diffusion & MidJourney to complain. It's like the invention of the camera on steroids.People said the camera would end of art and it started modern art.We'll find our way.There's just a bumpy ride ahead
@magicianbrain Most artists I know say they make art because "they have to" to basically stay sane. A coder, I imagine, can retrain and do something else fairly easily if they have eto. An artist can't. We've cared out the only place we can occupy at the margins of late-stage capitalism...
@EricPurchase Funny, I would say the absolute opposite is true. Lack of success for me is associated with having to compromise, take commission work and do the things I least believe in. Is what you mean maybe more a lack of notoriety?
@made_in_cosmos Hey you! :-) Hope you're well. A Dr. recommended Ashwaganda or Rhodiola to me. Before taking them I asked my body--got a big yes to the latter and a big no to the former--so do that. I am only taking a bit of Rhodiola but it seems to be helping with relaxation/adrenal support.
@23bloggingdogs@altryne Assuming you're on a PC, scroll down to the file sd-v1-4.ckpt right click on that and "save link as" or "save as" It's a big file so it may take a while. Then follow the instructions to upload that to your google drive. I was able to get it working! :-)
@altryne@23bloggingdogs Awesome! Hoping I'll be able to get it working by following the instructions in the meantime (just waiting for the download) So thankful to you guys for setting this up! It looks amazing! ❤️
@23bloggingdogs@altryne Aha! Here: https://t.co/pLR2WuXsyl
After it loads everything, it WILL fail and send you a notification, it's ok
Download the stable diffusion model (s-d-v1-4.ckpt) file from Hugging Face Stable Diffusion
Create a folder in the root of your Google Drive and name it AI
@electrictroy999@NGreen16@andy23tran IMHO health care here is headed for systemic overwhelm and collapse, but I suspect this is the case in most countries, just on slightly different timelines.
@electrictroy999@NGreen16@andy23tran Oh yeah—you do not want to be on a waiting list for anything here. Anything chronic or non-acute is terrible. But so far they still manage emergency services relatively well—likely to change in the near future unfortunately.
@NGreen16@andy23tran However, the strain on healthcare workers and the system from COVID is taking a toll. My city, Vancouver, has a huge doctor shortage and two hospital nurses recently told my husband some ERs are currently heading towards systemic burnout and closures.
@NGreen16@andy23tran In Canada yes though some provinces bill for ambulance service which can run a few hundred dollars. Basic insurance is currently free in my province so everyone is covered for heart attack, broken leg etc.
@Malcolm_Ocean Thanks, this was a helpful reminder for dealing with any resistance pattern. I just opened a dialogue and got an intelligent answer. :-)
