This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

NEW: Multiple ICE warehouses were sold by people in Trump's circle who were sitting on the properties and losing money.
We dug into it, and found that some properties were bought by the feds for 10x their list price.
It's a new level of corruption — and you're paying for it.
When I say the country is institutionally rigged for Republicans I’m talking about how Virginia gets their maps struck down after a two year process involving multiple legislative sessions and a statewide referendum but Tennessee can just decide not to enfranchise Memphis anymore
Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.
For the record, the president of the United States is now simultaneously claiming that he has won the war, is currently winning the war, needs help to win the war, and needs no help to win the war. All to destroy the nuclear program he claims to have already destroyed last year.
If you haven’t been following this, Afroman’s lawyers have also had some incredible moments — including asking if any reasonable person would think that a man wearing a flag suit in court should be taken seriously
Q: You don’t regret that people might’ve lost important income to support their lives?
A: No, I think it was more important to reduce the federal deficit.
Q: Ok. Did you reduce the federal deficit?
A: No, we didn’t.
This story cannot keep flying under the radar.
A ProPublica investigation uncovered hundreds of millions of dollars in financial ties between Trump officials and the industries they are supposed to regulate.
That is not just a conflict of interest. It is corruption, plain and simple.
This is the most corrupt administration in American history, by far.

If you're scoring at home, one R Congressman is accused of having an affair w/a staffer who later committed suicide and another is terminally ill but Johnson wants them both to stay in office for fear of losing control of the House. Media shrugs
Many things can be true at once
1. The Ayatollah was evil and bad
2. Regime change can work, but historically regime change in Iran has not
3. Trump is probably the least competent person to handle regime change (see Venezuela)
4. This was unconstitutional
It is possible to believe two things at once: That the long-suffering people of Iran deserve freedom from their despotic leaders, and that a bombing campaign by the current highly corrupt authoritarian government of America is unlikely to bring it.
A collection of the dumbest dudes you knew from high school felt emasculated when a black man got elected president, so, to compensate, we now have a semi-sentient pig’s stomach in a red hat starting an illegal war to distract the country from all the sex crimes he committed.
Trump delivered a State of the Union address earlier this week. He could have described to the American people the “imminent threat “ from Iran. He did not. And now we have gone to war with Iran without any explanation as to why. Crazy.
We have just gone to war with Iran without any serious public debate, without any authorization from Congress, without even an explanation from the US president as to why we just went to war.
Hope it all works out.
Fear that it will not.
