Newcastle’s council leader and his deputy were at England’s win over Slovakia last Sunday as part of a taxpayer-funded trip to Germany.

Tickets were a gift from sister city Gelsenkirchen, but council paid for hotel/travel for Newcastle delegation.

News: Planning committee have approved the development on Heaton Down Yard.
It is good to see quality housing being developed on disused land. Delighted also to have seen that the dwellings will now have solar panels.
