@N3CR0_V This is how powerlifters in real life are built. Id put her in a fantasy-leaning setting and let her wreck shop with a battle-axe or a Buster sword ๐ฅ
@IliyaV215109@LevelUpQuise@EndWokeness Egypt's "ancient" history runs centuries. Cleopatra was Greek which is Mediterranean. And they run darker than Elizabeth Taylor blonde white like she's been depicted before. Cleopatra lived closer to our time than when the pyramids were actually built
@philthatremains This is some old school sexist nonsense. If a woman is doing work that benefits herself and society, how is she useless when that's what a lot of men do? Were you useless Phil until you just recently had a kid at 50?
@ScrapIronLiver@ThisDayInMETAL Record sales did. Exodus is half the size of Anthrax. Both in the 80s/90s hey day and now. Testament eventually grew to be on par with Anthrax. But that didn't happen until well into the 90s at least
@NLB1Dukesta@philthatremains Public education is indoctrination for American Imperialism. All the ills of the American government get glossed over in public school. The govt isn't going to fund informing the youth of how evil it has been. That's asinine
@kirawontmiss Direction wise, this ain't great. You can barely follow the action of what's going on. It looks smooth and pretty. But this is definitely for the crowd of aesthetics over substance
@kirawontmiss The reason modern dub anime sounds bad to anyone I feel is more due to anime dialogue being overdramatic and cringe naturally. And that gets across more in a language you can understand. Shonen is aimed at teenage boys. The dialogue often reflects that.
@Brick_Suit Media interpretation has rarely been a conservative strong suit ๐Stiller made a satire about vain, spoiled actors and inept entertainment industry types. Most movies about Vietnam criticize the war & war in general. And the white house is using anti-war art to promote their war
@DamageInc331156@philthatremains@NexusMTG Oh I know plenty,Phil here, the NSBM scene,Tom Araya,Zetro,Bobby Blitz, maybe Hetfield, most of the butt rock scene.Plenty of conservatives who perform it, but the idea and roots of metal in itself doesn't fit conservative ethos. It started by bucking traditions conservatives value
@Censored86@PachecAdams@philthatremains You can be personally conservative and punk, but if you're supporting power structures that repress the freedoms and individuality of others, that's far from counter culture ethos
@Censored86@PachecAdams@philthatremains Musicians and filmmakers are Artists and artists tend to be left wing due to the need to be open minded and break from traditions to create innovative art. The point of being counter culture is to not be restrained by power structures and traditions. Conservatism is traditional
@DamageInc331156@philthatremains@NexusMTG Libertarian maybe. But definitely not conservative. Metal is rooted in going against traditionalism. That's what the "conserve" in conservatism means. Being measured, not radical, preserving institutions, safety in conformity. The antithesis of metal's ethos
@mscrantonbsas@philthatremains@NexusMTG Corporations and governments giving lip service to left wing causes for profit is NOT support.Leftists have little real representation in govt while fake "Libertarians" have thrown in with the people who rule the world. That's why the Dems keep losing. Leftys are fed up with fake
