I just moved to SF from New Mexico. A YC startup made me an offer on my third day here.

After booking a spring break trip to SF to go to events, I randomly happened to be sitting next to @taranjeetio the CEO of @mem0ai and we started chopping it up, and i pitched myself: “i’m on a spring break trip in SF looking to join a high growth ai startup, and if i find the right team, i’ll cancel my flight back to school and go all in with you”

I interviewed the next day; and the day after i received an offer.
So i dropped out (for the second time lol).

I still took my flight back but just to go to my dorm and pack my life in my car then drive 17 hours back to SF.

I know it might sound random but this was actually a highly strategic goal I set after realizing that everything i’m chasing (passion, cofounder, YC) are in SF.

I had tried to find them in NM, and in New York but to no avail.

Step 1 is fulfilled, i’m passionate about AI memory and doing forward deployed engineering is so so fun, especially when everybody is kinda deployed forward 🪖.

It feels so special to be in a place where people with dreams are coming from literally all over the world to make something out of it.

If you’re in sf tryna meet people let’s do it. I’m looking to build all kinds of relationships, friends, work, and romantic.
