congrats to the lemma team! we switched over from raindrop a while back at folk and the difference is that lemma actually understands what your agent is supposed to do, so it surfaces issues on its own instead of us setting up signals and tracing everything ourselves. huge for consumer agents where the surface area is massive.
I've known this team since they first started, they are incredibly relentless, and the talent is unmatched.
Behind every great company is always a great entrepreneur I would bet on @zjearbear & @colegawin_ any day - their grit & hustle is next-level.
Announcing your fundraise from the company account is a mistake now.
Founders must go direct like @zjearbear did here.
Ppl are unfollowing corporate accounts faster than ever. too much copied slop between rival brands, and it all reads as fake.
Seeing some incredible launch videos these days, note to founders, the bar has definitely been raised, invest the time and money to up your game, you don’t need a huge following to make noise, but you have to get creative to stand out!
how the Lemma launch came to be…
hi I’m sarah, i take care of marketing at @lemma_
things to know about this video:
1. made with 0 AI - a team of 30+ creatives who dedicated the last month to write, produce, direct, shoot, edit, color grade, and more
2. most are friends freshly graduated from USC, the actress is still a student. view full credit list on Instagram @ lemmahaus
3. shot in the same location as Obsession, it’s a diner in LA
4. who wrote the script? Cece Mou (producer) and Alex Guo (director) with inputs from Lemma team
5. this is a parody, we fully acknowledge and give credit to Curry Baker, director of Obsession
never underestimate the power of good media. quality art, original ideas, precision to craft > short lived vitality.
i chose to be in sf with @lemma_ over NBCUniversal to bring a little more hollywood to sf. turn abstract concepts into something people can feel, something personable, something you remember
made a bet, took a risk, more than grateful that it’s working out <3
i watched this side by side with the obsession clip and the attention to detail is uncanny. the way a company produces their launch video also says a lot about the team itself. huge congrats to @zjearbear@Sarah___Fan !!
we’ve been using @lemma_ for observability and it’s legitimately awesome
the thing we love is that it understands what your agents are supposed to do, instead of making you define every possible failure mode upfront
also this team is absolutely goated
congrats @zjearbear and team!
The scariest AI failures aren't the ones that crash.
They're the ones that confidently return the wrong result, skip a tool call, or quietly ignore an instruction... while everything looks successful.
That's exactly why observability is becoming as important as the models themselves.
Really well-executed launch from @lemma_. This is a problem every team building AI agents is going to run into sooner or later
