The team record does not define how outstanding Goalkeeper Ashlyn Hebert of Taunton, MA had as an individual for the 2025 season. Playing in Massachusetts High School Division 1 against extremely tough competition, Ashlyn Hebert set the bar with her own success as one of the very best goalkeepers in high school soccer in Massachusetts. A big-time college prospect who gives it all with every play that comes her way, Ashlyn Hebert made 121 saves in 2025 with 5 shutout wins and 2 other games only allowing 1 goal. The dynamic high saves, low saves, diving saves, cross saves and 1 on 1 saves make her standout as a strong competitor and athlete. TAUNTON HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER:
GAME RECAPS FROM SEPTEMBER 2 – 6, 2025.
The Taunton High School Girls Varsity Soccer team opened its first week of the 2025 season on fire going undefeated with 3 wins and 0 losses. The Tigers are off to their best season start in 14 years.

September 2, 2025. Taunton 4 Durfee, 2
Taunton won its first game of the regular season by beating non-league opponent Durfee 4-2. Senior Abby Constantino lit up the board first netting the team’s first goal of the 2025 season. Mia Torres connected next by scoring the team’s second goal. Also, later in the first half, Senior Olivia Mather playing in her first season for Taunton, connected on a corner shot pass for a fantastic goal via Adriana Slaney. Taunton was not done as shortly before halftime speedster Kaylee Lopes blazed a shot in the net for her first goal of the season with surely plenty more to follow in the season. Goalkeeper Ashlyn Hebert played strong defending the net.

September 4, 2025. Taunton 1 Foxboro 0
Taunton Junior Kaylee Lopes was the difference maker on offense by scoring the teams and game’s only goal of the game on an impressive shot at the 25-minute mark of the game. The goal was Kaylee Lopes 2nd in the season. Goalkeeper Ashlyn Hebert, possibly the league’s best shot stopper, was outstanding in net to earn the shutout win. Madison Crowley and Olivia Mather also played well with a strong overall game for Taunton. Taunton won 1-0 against league opponent Foxboro.

September 6, 2025. Taunton 9 New Bedford 1
Taunton exploded on offense with a barrage of goals netting 9 in total, 7 of them in the second half to defeat non-league opponent New Bedford 9-1. Taunton’s Kaylee Lopes continued her torrid goal scoring pace by netting 3 goals for a hat trick. Olivia Mather also got in on the action with a phenomenal game, scoring 3 goals for a hat trick. Adriana Slaney, Meaghan Cunningham and Sydney Martin each scored 1 goal. Goalkeeper Ashlyn Hebert had another stellar performance defending the net.

After three games in the season Kaylee Lopes leads the team with 5 goals and 1 assist. Olivia Mather has 4 goals and 1 assist. Ashlyn Hebert is leading the team in assists with 3 and after 3 games has only allowed an average of 1 goal per game defending the net as the Goalkeeper.
