IsraeIis poisoned Palestinian wells with typhoid bacteria in 1948 as part of ‘Operation Cast Thy Bread’, a biological warfare campaign to ethnically cleanse and prevent refugees from returning.
I'm about to leave the country again for a trip. Or at least try to leave. Let's see if I make it out this time. And if I can get back in. There is no international manhunt for people doing the genocide, but those opposing it are having their freedom of movement taken away.
Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

why do "balls" imply toughness and "pussy" imply weakness when the slightest flick to the nuts sends a guy to his knees, yet a vagina can push out an entire being.?????
@jaanislam Hi, I partially agree to second paragraph but in terms of the first paragraph you wrote have you ever heard of “barış akademisyenleri” case in Turkey! Repression was so incredibly severe that some young academics even committed suicide! Many of them are still unemployed
It is one thing to criticize European hypocrisy on freedom of speech, it is quite another to romanticize academia in Turkey. If you have somehow missed the academics who were fired, blacklisted, stripped of their passports, barred from public employment, prosecuted, or driven into exile due to their criticism of the government, then you are either astonishingly ignorant or acting as a mouthpiece for the regime.
And the claim that an academic would enjoy more disposable income in Turkey than at Oxford is equally absurd. British academic salaries are hardly generous, but comparing them favorably to the economic realities facing academics (any anybody else tbh) in Turkey today requires a level of detachment from reality that is difficult to take seriously.
All around, a ridiculous argument.
i had family members in gaza crying telling me they couldn’t even find one grain of salt during the height of the “famine”. to see evil bloodthirsty beasts like this flat out deny what my family experienced is sickening. pure evil.
Rezillik.
Kültür sanat alanında faaliyet gösteren bütün şirketlerin, yayınevlerinin, tiyatroların, sinemacıların, müzisyenlerin ve bunlar gibi sanat kurumlarının vergi oranı yüzde 5'e kadar düşürülmeli. Kültür sanattan daha çok vergi mi alırmış. Bunu yıllardır söylüyorum, içerde de kulak asan, bunun mücadelesini veren yok.
