@PatienceSatty was at the 1994 loss in Omaha. couldn't say a word for a week. flight home was awful. this one hurts, but not as much as being on the precipice.
@aztechnewt@GTPAINN Mentioned the same in another post, this felt exactly like the Pitt night game. Win, win the ACC, ur in the playoffs. GTBB had TWO chances & blew it... GTFB had one.
@MattThompson87 This felt exactly like the GTFB Pitt night game. Highly favored, take care of biz, win & you're on to the ACC. Win the ACC & ur in the playoffs. GT lays an egg both times... except that GTBB had TWO chances when GTFB had ONE.
@MattThompson87 Not trusting your relievers... when PC>80, you must relieve him no matter what. Offense failed in late innings... no hits & RBIs against the curveball. At least we put in pinch hitters on Sunday. It was all coaching, IMO.
@CSJenkins_2 Us down the 3rd base line actually watched it go foul. IMO, it was the 3rd base ump who needs the eye exam. It was clearly foul, Street simply backed his guy. Strike zone was variable all afternoon.
@WilliamPegram11@WakeBaseball there's just not enough adequate weather shelter for the gen admission ticketholders at the rusty C. I don't blame either side for getting the heck out of there, it was miserable rain
